    THE WORLD OF OZ
    Blog Entry - Update August 11, 2015

Oberon and OZ have found the gallery space!  And some of the sections now have names:

    Goddess Curiosa Temple and Museum
    Museum of the Mysteries
    Illuminarium Library of Esoterica
    Magick Alley shoppe
    Legacy Gifts and Memorial Exhibits

It’s a gallery/museum/gift shop!  It’s a reality television show!  It’s the life of Oberon Zell Ravenheart, High Wizard and Headmaster of The Grey School.  I’ve known Oberon for about ten years, but until the late spring of 2015 I didn’t know just how extensive is his collection of Pagan and fantasy memorabilia.  In June of 2015 I had only met Nikki Kirby twice – once in the autumn of 2014 at the Sonoma County Pagan Network Divination Party, and once in March of 2015, when she came to a party at my house in Rohnert Park, California.  Oberon lived about five miles from me, at that time.

In June of 2015 everything changed.  Nikki asked me to become part of the development team for a new television reality show, The World of Oz.  I was amazed to learn that the concept for a show about the life of Oberon Zell Ravenheart had been around for three years, that there had been interest in developing the show by some major production companies, but the concept languished because there was no one to prepare a presentation.

Nikki and I embarked on a journey to present the concept of The World of Oz to the world of reality show television.  The early part was easy – the initial presentation came together quickly, but revisions were required – the initial idea was for Oberon and his people to buy land up in Lake County and build a Pagan Village.  While several productions companies were interested in the concept, no one came forward to take it further.  In July the whole concept changed because the Pagan Village idea was scrapped due to the immense problems presented by land that couldn’t support people, much less internet.  Within a week, everything changed – for the better.  The new plan was for Oberon to locate to Santa Cruz, where he will be living with Ann and James in their fabulous house designed by James...up on a cliff overlooking the ocean.  And now The World of Oz will be not just a television show but a gallery/museum and gift shop!  Such an awesome idea...

The producers were onboard for this concept immediately.  Hopefully it will go forward massively this week...lots of people who want to work on it, design the gallery, the websites...everything is coming together.  Stay tuned to this blog for more news on the television show and gallery for The World of Oz.  And if anyone is in Sonoma County the weekend of August 15th and 16th, come over to RavenHaven for the last Hippy Dippy pool party and this year the big yard sale...
